Class Description.

Online (for 3 weeks)

For a successful painting in your favorite subject you will have enough preparation time online in order for developing your design through many of studies and sketches.

You will learn about visual elements you should consider for strong quality of work and how to apply them to your preliminary studies.

The preparation (online) has the next 3 stages.

  • Stage 1 (Reference): How to make good reference photos.

  • Stage 2 (Value Study): How to design interesting value pattern.

  • Stage 3 (Color Study): How to design interesting color scheme.

Online is better platform to study those stages because of the advantages below.

  • You can see and compare a lot of reference artworks to train your eye.

  • Lots of principle can be learned deeper by text and example images.

  • You can repeat to course for your better understanding of the themes.

  • You can study as your pace.

So, you will have 3 weeks of online study to clealy understand of visual elements and the application to your painting.

There are 3 themes total. (1. photo, 2. value and 3. color)

After completion of each theme you will submit the images of your study through Critique pageand I will email you with my critique and the revised image. So, You can continue updating your design for the 3 weeks.

After the 3 weeks of online studies you will be having one or two of your best design samples. They will help you to reduce errors during your painting and lead your painting to the planned quality.

On-site (2 days)

Some artists have troubles diring painting due to inefficiency of the work progress. For example, in case artist do not build design structure in the beginning stage of work, focus on a partial detail which is not significant to the work quality or/and use impromper application technique for the types of composition.

The things happen during painting. So, I watch the work progress and provide timely feedbacks and demos at the right moments.

On-site class is for 2 days.

  • Day 1: Principles for beginning to mid stage of a work.

  • Day 2: Principles for final stage of a work.

You will learn how to classify things to do by each stage and apply the efficient work order for your successful work result.

Completing of the both online and on-site courses you will have a finished painting. When you submit the work image through my Artwork Criques at my website, you will get my final critique on your work.
