About The Event
[Workshop Description]
Join artist Zin Lim for an unforgettable and inspiring Expressive Figure Drawing workshop. Hailing from South Korea, Zin will guide participants in creating emotionally rich drawings that emphasize rhythm, movement, and personal expression.
Through a blend of lectures, presentations, and multiple live demonstrations, Zin will share his unique approach to expressive drawing. Participants will experiment with their inner voice and body rhythm, producing numerous short and long posed drawings.
This workshop is suitable for artists of all skill levels. Beginners will learn the basics of using charcoal, making compelling visual marks, and creating expressive figure drawings without focusing on anatomical precision. Advanced artists will discover ways to break free from their comfort zones, transitioning from tight to loose drawing styles.
By the end of this course, you will have broadened your perspective on figure drawing, found greater joy in the creative process, and gained new direction for your future art projects.
