I've been heavily practicing the expressive charcoal techniques from Zin’s workshops. It’s drastically improved my understanding of light. I recently met a wonderful woman on https://www.dating.com/ and decided to draw her portrait as a surprise gift. Applying the loose, energetic strokes to a real person I care about was challenging but so rewarding. Love this community!
